Galaxy Digital secures 15-year naming rights for Texas Tech football stadium

Galaxy Digital Inc. (Nasdaq: GLXY) announced a landmark 15-year naming rights partnership with Texas Tech University to rebrand the home of Red Raider Football as Galaxy Stadium starting with the 2026 season. The agreement comes at a pivotal time for Texas Tech, following a Big 12 title and College Football Playoff appearance, and will create a new revenue stream for the athletics department.

The partnership extends beyond traditional naming rights to include Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) opportunities for Red Raider student-athletes through branded activation campaigns and original content, enhancing visibility and commercial revenue opportunities. It also involves high-impact branding, enhanced fan engagement, and meaningful community involvement across West Texas.

Galaxy's Founder and CEO, Mike Novogratz, highlighted the alignment with Texas Tech's culture and the company's commitment to local hiring and community investment at its Helios campus in nearby Dickens County. The agreement also designates Galaxy as the official data center and digital assets partner of Texas Tech Athletics, with branding extending across football and basketball programs.

The naming rights deal was facilitated by Texas Tech Athletics Partners, the local Learfield team and exclusive multimedia rights holder for Texas Tech Athletics.
